New season long sleeved tops from Baukjen

Joelle Top (£79) along with boyfriend jeans (£99) and the signature belt in oxblood (£65)

I’ve reached the end of my three month long collaboration with Baukjen, which has been just amazing. I was so delighted and honoured that they invited me to work with them and I shall remember the experience for a long time to come.

In this post, I wanted to share some of my favourite new season long sleeved tops from Baukjen. Even their plain tops are far from boring, with a puff sleeved and pie crust collar detail here ( I’m thinking of the Mabel top  in particular – see below) and a bishop sleeve or a turtleneck top there (see the Joelle above, which I thought that was very VB!)

A good selection of long sleeved tops forms the backbone of a great wardrobe and your wardrobe is the foundation of  who you are. Layering the right top underneath a dress enables it to go further into the autumn and winter months. Popping a simple frill collar top under a wider neck jumper makes it cosier and fills the chilly gaps around your neck. The same simple top will do nicely under a blazer for work, instead of a blouse, and a printed top with a pussy bow can be used to elevate any outfit out of the ordinary, to something extraordinary.

It’s not so much about having a huge selection of tops in varying colours and prints. But rather it’s about investing in some great basics (but with a twist) that enable you to style your clothes from evenings out to lazy days at home, or from the spring through to the autumn and winter. Having those pieces that you can grab in a hurry and which you know make you feel great makes all the difference between being able to express yourselves through your clothes, and hiding away at home.

In the video below, I’ve talked through all of my favourite new season Baukjen long sleeved tops and given you a little background, as well as their fabric composition and ideas on how to style them. Oh and don’t forget that there’s 20% off with the code BG20AW.
